This bone-dry Riesling is provocatively ripe, popping with brilliant acids. Yellow florals, sweet pineapple flesh and lemon wedge. The palate pops with juicy Meyer lemon, sea salt and ripping green mango freshness through the finish.

Love & Squalor, Dry Riesling, Sunnyside Vineyard, Willamette Valley, Oregon 2018
93 pts
Tasted by: Clive Pursehouse
Drinking Window: 2025 - 2033
This eight-year-old Riesling shows the impressive capacity for variety in the Willamette Valley, sourced from a single site planted in 1971 in the West Salem Hills. Rich notes of macerated apricots, brandied pears and a nutty depth, with a nod to petrol depth. There's a richness evocative of white miso paste, poached pear and a brisk soaring minerality piqued by dazzling acidity.

Love & Squalor, Dry Riesling Reserve, Willamette Valley, Oregon, USA 2017
94 Pts
Tasted by: Clive Pursehouse
Drinking Window: 2026 - 2035
A wonderfully evocative Reserve Riesling that shows the region's propensity to deliver complexity for something that is not Pinot Noir or Chardonnay. This wine is a selection of the oldest Riesling blocks that Love & Squalor work with. Beyond the alluring fruit aromas elements of umami and secondary character are starting to show in this wine at almost ten years on.
