Instead of our usual weekday meetup, in collaboration with the Portland Modern Quilt Guild, we’re hosting a special Holiday Crafty Hang on Saturday, 12/20 from 2–6 pm. Join us at the winery bar for an easygoing, festive afternoon of crafting, sipping mulled wine, and hangin’ out in our fun holiday-filled lounge. Bring any hand project you’re working on—knitting, stitching, binding, beading—or simply show up and soak in the cozy holiday vibes.

Settle in with a glass of wine (or beer, bubble water, or whatever feels merry), chat with fellow PMQG friends, and enjoy a joyful space to unwind during the busiest time of year. It’s the perfect pause to stitch and savor a little creative magic.

This event is open to everyone - all skills welcome.

Join us at the winery bar on Sunday, December 14th from 2–6pm for a Sekt & Oysters Party featuring the debut of our Pet Matt Sparkling Sekt. We’ll be pouring glasses of this new release while Pop Oysters PDX shucks fresh oysters on site. It all coincides with the Foster Area Cocoa & Caroling Fest, so make us one of your festive stops—sip some bubbles, enjoy delicious oysters, and soak up the neighborhood holiday energy.

For this month’s Spin the Bottle, we’re welcoming Meg Rulli of Flipturn Cellars.

Meg fell in love with wine during her college study abroad in Barcelona, where she discovered the joy of pairing wine with food. In 2019, she earned her WSET Level 3 Certification, and the following year, she took the bold leap of purchasing one ton of Syrah from Washington’s Yakima Valley without any prior winemaking experience. Through hands-on learning and mentorship from talented Oregon winemakers, she crafted her first vintage and launched Flipturn Cellars in 2022.

When she’s not in the cellar, Meg runs Barrel Dork — a weekly newsletter and online platform where she shares approachable wine education and courses designed for everyday wine lovers.

Hey Seattle friends! Join us at Elliott's Oyster House for Oyster New Year! The event will feature 40+ shuckers expertly shucking 18,000 raw oysters. There will be premium wines (including Love & Squalor), local microbrews, and spirits, as well as other fresh seafood and desserts. The event will also feature a sprint shucking competition, a People’s Choice “Most Beautiful Oyster” Contest, and the famous oyster luge!
