Sept 27th - Spin the Bottle: Amiti Wines + Rebora Wines + Love & Squalor

We’re back with another edition of Spin the Bottle, our guest winemaker series that brings fresh voices and unique perspectives into the tasting room. On Friday, September 27th, we’re thrilled to welcome Taylor Rebora of Rebora Wines and Rueben Lange of Amiti Wines—two exciting winemakers shaping the future of Oregon wine in very different, but equally compelling ways.

Meet Rueben Lange – Amiti Wines

After years of making wine for others across three continents, Rueben launched Amiti in 2022. The name, meaning “unique qualities a person possesses to do good in the world” in Hebrew, reflects his guiding principle: people and place are at the center of everything.

Rueben avoids traditional wine labels and descriptors, encouraging drinkers to meet his wines on their own terms. Beyond that, he’s farming vineyards in Canby and White Salmon—including one planted entirely to French-American hybrids, which he champions as a sustainable, overlooked future for the industry.

He’ll be pouring a stellar lineup:

2022 “Still in the Clouds” – Chenin, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Melon de Bourgogne (Elkton AVA)
2023 “Flurries on the Riverbank” – Grenache (Columbia Gorge)
2024 “Melting Popsicles” – Leon Millot (Willamette Valley)

Meet Taylor Rebora – Rebora Wines

Taylor may only bottle a tiny amount of wine (170 cases!), but her approach is anything but small. With a degree in Wine & Viticulture from Cal Poly and vintages spanning California, New Zealand, South Africa, and Oregon, Taylor combines academic precision with the wisdom of mentors across the globe.

Her wines are about finding the best possible expression of each vineyard and vintage—without dogma, with intention. This year she’ll be sharing her 2023 Dolcetto, “Natura Morta,” from Jubilee Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills—a wine born of her time at Beckham Estate Vineyard and her belief in capturing fleeting moments of energy in every bottle.

Why You Should Join Us

These two winemakers represent everything Spin the Bottle is about—creativity, passion, and the joy of sharing wine stories outside the mainstream. You’ll have the rare chance to taste wines that are made in tiny quantities, driven by deep values, and infused with fresh energy.
