International Pinot Noir Day is August 18th, but we’ll be honoring the day on Sunday, August 17th, with a Pinot Party in the winery bar.

Known for crafting vibrant, traditional method sparkling wines from dry-farmed Willamette Valley vineyards, Bobby brings a thoughtful and expressive take on Oregon bubbles. Portland Wine Company will be closed Friday, July 4th so our staff can enjoy fireworks, BBQs, and well-deserved time with family and friends (and probably grill some burgers that would pair beautifully with our Pinot Noir).

We’re celebrating International Rosé Day the only way we know how—by pouring the pink and the orange. Swing by the tasting room on June 27 to sip our 2024 Garageland Rosé of Pinot Noir, full of strawberry, citrus, and serious summertime charm, plus our Love & Squalor Pet Matt—a fizzy, unfiltered rosé pét-nat that’s basically bottled porch weather. We’re also featuring our two skin-contact stunners: the Love & Squalor ‘A Frayed Knot’ Gewürztraminer (think tangerine peel and spice) and ‘Walks on Gilded Splinters’ Pinot Gris (peachy, textural, and super chillable). Orange wines sometimes get lumped in with rosé—but we say the more shades of delicious, the better. Come taste the rainbow (just, like, a natural wine rainbow). 🧡💗✨

Mike Hinds has been making adventurous, balanced, thoughtfully crafted wines under the Franchere label since 2013. He works with grapes less commonly grown in the Willamette Valley, so this is a great opportunity to expand your wine knowledge.

Join Matt and other winemakers at HiFi in McMinnville for this celebration of the Temperance Hill Vineyard. The producer tasting will include a walkthrough, hors d'oeuvres, music, and a chance to meet the winemakers! Stay for the afterparty, featuring a curated list of back-vintage wines from some of Temperance Hill's top producers. DJ Bryson Wallace, from KMHD Jazz Radio in Portland, will be spinning all evening.
